Tesla Model Y with Acceleration Boost vs. Mustang Mach-E Drag Race[VIDEO]

YouTube channel The Kilowatts recently picked up a new Ford Mustang Mach-E Extended Range All-Wheel Drive and have now put the new electric crossover to the test, in a drag race versus Tesla’s Model Y Dual Motor with Acceleration Boost upgrade.
Check out the video below:

The Mach-E Extended Range All-Wheel Drive has a range of 270 miles and says it can go from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds, and starts at $47,000 USD, but $7,700 USD is extra for the extended range battery pack.
The Model Y Dual Motor Long Range starts at $47,490 USD, has a range of 326 miles and can go from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The $2,000 USD Performance boost add-on reduces this time to 4.2 seconds.
If you haven’t seen the video yet, spoiler alert—the Model Y wins. While this was just a casual test and not scientific in any means, it can give you a good sense of who will win when accelerating from traffic lights. Would you pick the Mustang Mach-E over the Model Y?
Update: Corrected the story to indicate The Kilowatts is looking forward to testing the soon-to-be-released Mach-E GT Performance against the Performance Model Y. The Mach-E tested in the video is the Extended Range AWD model, not the GT.
