2022 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo First Look
Porsche’s newest electric vehicle (EV) has arrived, and it’s looking great at first glance.
On Thursday, Motortrend reported on the new Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo, an electric luxury wagon with a little more space, a taller height off the ground, and a more off-road-looking style than the Porsche’s Taycan sedan.
Considered a “more well-rounded version” of the Taycan sedan by Porsche, the Cross Turismo features many similarities with the sedan, save for newly-standard air springs, which are optional on other Taycan models, and the general shape of the body.

All in all, the vehicle isn’t much of a change from the Taycan sedan besides in looks and feel. Along with the off-road look of the Cross Turismo, the vehicle features a “Gravel” mode, in which it raises the suspension 0.39 inches higher than normal, allocating a stability slock, of sorts, to equalize the speed of each wheel.
By purchasing the “off-road design pack,” however, Taycan buyers can also get a Cross Turismo which comes with the 0.39-inch suspension raise as the standard.
The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo starts at $92,250 (USD), and while the range has yet to be determined, its other Taycan models range between 199 and 227 miles.
In any case, the new EV from Porsche is a welcome treat for the luxury car community, and as more vehicles continue to go electric, we’re likely to see even more luxury EVs in the years to come.
