First Tesla Supercharger Under Construction in Greece
The first Tesla Supercharger station has been spotted under construction in Athens, Greece.
According to the Tesla Fans Greece Facebook page, Panagiotis S. shared two spy pictures of the Supercharger, located behind the Golden Hall on Pittara at OAKA, across from the Olympic Stadium. Behind fencing, you can see six Tesla Superchargers wrapped in plastic (via @TeslaFansGR).
It’s unclear whether these will be V2 or V3 Tesla Superchargers:

With Giga Berlin expected to be completed in 2021, the added factory will allow Tesla to scale up its expansion in Europe and rely less on Giga Shanghai. It’s always great to see the first Tesla Superchargers pop up in any country, and for fans of the automaker in Greece, this is a fantastic sign.
