Tesla Full Self-Driving Upgrade Drops to $5,000 USD for Enhanced Autopilot Owners
Tesla has dropped the price of its Full Self-Driving (FSD) upgrade for select Enhanced Autopilot (EAP) owners, as the price is now showing as $5,000 USD in the U.S. The upgrade would bring full FSD features such as Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control.

Back in late October, Tesla increased the price of FSD in the U.S. by $2,000 USD, for a whopping price of $10,000 USD. The price increase was limited to just the U.S., stated Elon Musk, noting only for those places where FSD beta is currently available.
For those in Canada, the FSD upgrade drops to $5,300 CAD, previously at $6,500 CAD, a $1,100 CAD decrease. It’s worth noting FSD beta is not available in Canada yet, but Musk previously said he is hopeful it will debut in December.
This price drop may be a sign FSD beta is coming to select customers in Canada soon, particularly those lucky to be chosen to try out the beta software.

The FSD Capability includes Navigate on Autopilot, Auto Lane Change, Autopark, Summon, Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control.
Nevertheless, these frequent surprise price drops for in-app Tesla purchases, come and go at random times, so if you’ve been waiting for a price drop, now may be the time to pull the trigger. The timing comes as we approach the end-of-year push from Tesla.
