New Tesla Model 3 Manual (Oct. 2020) Debuts in 2020.44 Update
Tesla has shared a new and updated North America Model 3 manual, with a publish date of October 29, 2020. This new manual is found for those running the 2020.44 update released earlier this month, as spotted by Reddit user ‘matt687’.
Features from the latest 2021 Model 3 refresh are not included in the manual, and for the most part, the manual is the same, but there are some notable changes, details ‘matt687’, such as the gear selector now renamed to ‘drive stalk’, to go with info regarding the new glovebox PIN feature.

- Auto-lock Exclude Home option added (page 14)
- Approx. June 2020 USB ports are USB-C (images updated) (page 22)
- Cabin camera data sharing opt-in information (page 24, 122)
- Brake booster fault indicator added (page 57, 61)
- Pedestrian Warning System status indicator removed (page 58, 76)
- Hydraulic Boost Compensation section added (page 62)
- Camera side images (repeater cameras) swipe up (page 73)
- Some vehicles equipped with charge port inlet heater (page 77, 150)
- Camera Calibration service menu option added (page 81, 122)
- Traffic Light and Stop Sign Control limited to speed limit of road removed (page 84)
- Exit Passing Lane option added (page 92)
- Slows down and stops at roundabout (page 100)
- Obstacle-Aware Acceleration displays a warning and sounds a chime (page 114)

Only Tesla needs to keep updating its vehicle manuals so frequently thanks to new features delivered via over-the-air software updates. One day, legacy automakers may do the same, right?
