Tesla Full Self-Driving Beta Canada Launch Date ‘Hopefully’ in December: Musk
When will Canadians be able to test Tesla’s Full Self-Driving beta? It may come next month in December, according to CEO Elon Musk on late Wednesday.
Responding to a query on an ETA for FSD beta for Canada from Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, Musk replied, “hopefully next month”.
Numerous Tesla owners have been pushing hard for FSD beta to land in the Great White North, leveraging the hashtag #FSDBetaCanada since the test software debuted in the United States earlier this fall.

Earlier this month, Musk confirmed Canada and Norway would be the next countries to get FSD beta after the U.S. gets “out of early beta”.
Canada and Norway are next after we get US out of early beta!

Earlier today, Tesla released FSD beta 5 for testers in the United States, and we’ve already seen some videos of the new version already showing improvements compared to before.
It’s unclear how well FSD beta will work in Canadian winters, for areas where snow will be on the ground and lines on the road not visible. We’ll have to stay tuned and find out.
