Nick Bilton has written a lengthy December featured story for Vanity Fair, which aims to cover the Elon Musk’s “erratic and crazy year”, according to the writer.

The profile piece focuses on a lot of negative headlines that surrounded Musk in 2020, ranging from Tesla, SpaceX, COVID-19 and his personal life. All quotes and anecdotes are from unnamed insiders, which likely means there’s no way to know if they’re even true or not.
When Bilton asked Musk to comment on the story, he didn’t get much out of the Tesla and SpaceX CEO, other, than “a three-word note that he specifically wanted attributed to him: “Vanity Fair sucks.””
You have to love Elon Musk for calling it like it is. He reminds us of Steve Jobs and not willing to take any bullshit from the media.
