New Tesla FSD Beta Videos: Pedestrians, Roundabouts, Smart Summon and More
After seeing some initial clips of Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Beta) shared yesterday evening by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley and Brandon M., both individuals have now shared more videos demonstrating this new FSD beta.
The following video by Brandon shows FSD beta driving along a city street, turn on the left signal and pull into a left-hand turning lane. The clip at just over 1-minute provides a good look at FSD beta visualizations. Sadly, FSD beta does not handle the left turn correctly and Brandon had to take over. Alas, this is still beta software and owners need to be ready to take over at all times!
Here’s an example showing FSD beta going from highway to a city street transition:
Here are three Tesla FSD beta clips shared by Tesla Owners Silicon Valley. The first one is a Model X running the FSD beta successfully navigating a roundabout—even with a pedestrian nearby:
This second clip below is a test of Smart Summon with FSD beta. While the Tesla Model X takes its time to make a right-hand turn in a parking lot, it eventually ends up at its destination:
The clip below shows FSD beta driving, then stopping automatically when a person walks in front of the Tesla to cross the road:

This video filmed by The Kilowatts of @teslaownersSV, shows FSD beta approaching a right-hand turn, slowing down, signalling, then inching out to check for traffic, then proceeding through all by its own:

Earlier today, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the company would be delaying its FSD price increase of $2,000 USD by one week, providing a bit of reprieve for owners undecided if they should jump on the Autopilot add-on or not.
