2021 Lucid Air EV: Price, Release Date, Specs, Range and More

Lucid Motors held a special event today unveiling its luxury electric vehicle sedan, the Lucid Air, which will be available in four variations in the U.S. and Canada. The virtual event showed off a polished presentation that made Lucid Air look like it was made by Apple, minus Jony Ive.

Lucid Motors says for cars purchased in the U.S., they will have include 3 years of free charging at Volkswagen’s Electrify America charging stations. Lucid Motors showrooms will allow customers to order vehicles, with various locations available in the United States, while a map during the presentation showed a location in Canada, which looked like Vancouver, B.C.

The company has its designs in California, but a factory in Arizona. Those interested can reserve a Lucid Air/Air Touring/Air Grand Touring for a $1,000 USD refundable deposit ($1,300 CAD), while the Lucid Air Dream Edition (limited) can be reserved for $7,500 USD ($9,800 CAD).

At the end of the video, Lucid teased a large SUV, expected to arrive sometime in the future.
