Tesla recently made some major changes to its Autopilot and Full Self-Driving features. As perhaps the most notable change, drivers have enjoyed testing out the beta version of Traffic Light and Stop Sign control. But some new changes to the full self-driving package provide some more insight on current iterations, while also hinting towards the future.

In a Twitter post by @SavedTesla, Tesla fans get some insight into some of the latest updates to the full self-driving package. As the tweet states, “Traffic lights is no longer coming soon, and wording updated for the last listed feature. Was Automatic Driving on City Streets, now reads “Autosteer on city streets”

The feature changes leave some drivers with questions. For example, how will the autopilot system differentiate between various types of Autosteer settings when placed in disparate environments? Furthermore, drivers are wondering how soon some full-self driving features will become available in their region.

If the latest update [2020.12.6] is any indication, then Tesla is certainly hard at work correcting issues with all aspects of their self-driving features. The mere inclusion of a beta test mode for Traffic Light and Stop Sign control demonstrates the electric vehicle manufacturer’s commitment to ironing out any kinks in their autonomous driving modes.
