easyJet will bring Starlink Wi-Fi to its Airbus A320, A320neo and A321neo fleet, the airline announced on Monday, joining Southwest Airlines and other carriers that have picked SpaceX’s satellite internet for the cabin.
According to the easyJet announcement, installations start in the first half of 2027 and should wrap up by early 2028. It’s the first time the low-cost airline will offer Wi-Fi on board at all, and passengers will be able to stream, game and browse on their own devices, check flight status in the easyJet app, and eventually order from the inflight menu from their seats.

CEO Kenton Jarvis said partnering with SpaceX “will not only further enhance the experience we provide millions of customers,” while SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell said fast, reliable connectivity “means people can work, stream, or stay in touch without interruption.”
Elon Musk shared the news on X a couple of hours later with a simple “Starlink coming to EasyJet.”

easyJet is one of Europe’s largest airlines, carrying 100 million passengers in 2025 and flying over 350 aircraft on more than 1,200 routes to over 160 airports in 35 countries, according to the company. In North America, Southwest now says it will have Starlink on its entire fleet by fall 2027, and United already has it on nearly half its daily flights.
Pricing hasn’t been announced, so it’s still unclear whether easyJet will make the Wi-Fi free or charge for it. Would free Starlink on board make you pick easyJet over another budget airline?
