Grok Imagine, the image and video generator from SpaceXSI, released the first episode of an AI-made Odyssey series on Friday, October 23, and Elon Musk shared it with his followers that night. In its post on X, Grok Imagine said the episode was “made with Grok Imagine” as a creative collaboration with Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker.
Musk quote-posted the episode late Friday with a short caption, “Odyssey with Grok Imagine.” Wonder Studios, a creative studio that makes original films and commercials, also shared it, writing, “Homer didn’t have Grok… we do.”

The episode runs just over seven minutes and was posted in 4K. It’s a cinematic take on Homer’s epic, with a bearded lead in a dark cloak, a woman holding an infant, a small carved horse figurine and a fleet of black-sailed ships crossing a gray sea. Grok Imagine hasn’t said how many episodes are planned or when the next one arrives, but it asked viewers to say in the comments whether they’d like “a full breakdown of how it was done.”

Earlier in the week, the Grok Imagine account posted a step-by-step guide to creating characters for animated AI videos. It tells creators to gather reference images in a Grok Imagine canvas, brainstorm a style with Grok, refine the designs and then use them as a source for other characters, props and backgrounds.
Beyond video, SpaceXSI has been pushing Grok into more places. This week it opened a partner network to bring Grok to big business, and a Tesla engineer said Grok helped tune the Cybercab’s new rearview camera view.
Would you watch a full series made with Grok Imagine, or does Hollywood still have the edge?
