Tesla Launches Cybercab Inspired Aurum Pickleball Paddle with Selkirk

Tesla and Idaho-based Selkirk have partnered to launch the Tesla Aurum Pickleball Paddle by Selkirk, priced from $295 USD.

Designed by Tesla design executive Javier Verdura and Selkirk designer Tom Barnes, the new paddle draws design cues from the exterior finish of the Cybercab. It features the same shape, ergonomics, and all-court performance as the previously released Tesla Plaid Paddle, but introduces a new gold finish.

Key specs include a weight of 7.8 to 8.1 ounces, a thickness of 16mm, a Florek Carbon Fiber face, and an InfiniGrit surface finish. The paddle also incorporates Selkirk’s PureFoam Core and MOI Weight tuning system to optimize swing mechanics and contact consistency.

Buyers can choose options with or without a custom carrying bag on the official Tesla Shop website. The paddle alone is $295, but with a bag it’s $350, and Tesla says these are only available in the United States.
