SpaceX Releases Incredible Starlink Video That Looks Like Sci-Fi

SpaceX Vice President Michael Nicolls has shared a stunning time-lapse video captured from a Starlink satellite during a recent orbital mission. The footage shows the journey of the G10-38 launch on May 1, as the hardware cruises through an entire orbit around the Earth.

The video captures the satellites passing through vibrant sunrises and sunsets while they slowly drift apart in space. They are initially stacked like a deck of cards inside the Falcon 9 rocket before being dispensed into their specific positions.

Check it out below:

The visuals are so smooth and surreal that they look like a scene pulled straight out of a high-budget science fiction film. SpaceX explained that the rocket performs a slow spin during the deployment process to give each satellite a slight velocity difference, ensuring they do not collide as they begin to raise their orbits.

These satellites are part of a growing constellation designed to provide high-speed internet to remote areas across the globe. Watching the mechanical dance of the deployment sequence against the backdrop of the Earth’s horizon offers a rare, cinematic look at modern space infrastructure in action.

Right now, Starlink has a deal offering internet from $29 per month, in yet another promo to encourage more sign ups.
