US Mobile and Starlink Launch New Bundles: Home Internet and Cell for $47
US Mobile has officially launched a first-of-its-kind partnership with Starlink, offering customers a way to bundle their home satellite internet with their mobile phone plans.
The move targets dead zones and rural connectivity, making US Mobile the first prepaid carrier to integrate Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite technology into a single billing experience. The partnership focuses on Starlink’s Residential service, providing a massive value play for customers who live in areas where traditional fibre or cable hasn’t reached.
New Starlink and US Mobile Bundle Pricing
The new plans offer different speed tiers for home internet combined with US Mobile’s Unlimited Starter or Premium mobile plans. For new customers, the pricing starts as low as $47 per month:
- Starlink Residential 100 Mbps Bundle: $47 per month (Includes $17/mo Unlimited Starter + $30/mo Starlink).
- Starlink Residential 200 Mbps Bundle: $77 per month (Includes $17/mo Unlimited Starter + $60/mo Starlink).
- Starlink Residential Max (400+ Mbps): $117 per month (Includes $17/mo Unlimited Starter + $100/mo Starlink).
For the hardware, the Starlink Residential Kit is priced at $349, though the carrier is currently offering it with no upfront cost or monthly fee under specific terms.
Options for Existing Customers
If you already have a US Mobile plan, you aren’t being left out of the savings. Current subscribers can add Starlink home internet directly to their existing service at the following monthly rates:
- Starlink Residential 100 Mbps: $30 per month.
- Starlink Residential 200 Mbps: $60 per month.
- Starlink Residential Max (400+ Mbps): $100 per month.
The Fine Print
It is important to note that these headline prices are introductory. The US Mobile mobile pricing is a promotional rate for the first year when paid annually; after 12 months, it renews at the current standard price, which is $20 per month when paid monthly. Similarly, the Starlink portion of the bill is an introductory rate for the first six months before reverting to current standard pricing.
More Than Just Home Internet
While the bundles focus on home connectivity, the partnership is also about the future of mobile safety. US Mobile is leveraging Starlink’s Direct-to-Cell technology to eventually eliminate cellular dead zones. This means even if you are out of range of a traditional cell tower, your smartphone will be able to send emergency messages and SMS via satellite.
By launching these bundles, US Mobile is positioning itself against industry giants like T-Mobile, offering a one-stop-shop for internet whether you are at home in a rural area or travelling across North America.
