Tesla Model Y Dominates Taiwan Market as Top-Selling Vehicle for March
Tesla’s Model Y has officially claimed the title of the best-selling vehicle in Taiwan for March 2026, outpacing all other gas and electric competitors. According to recent registration data, the electric crossover secured the top spot in the overall market with 4,540 units delivered.
The Model Y’s performance placed it well ahead of the second-place Toyota Corolla Cross, which saw 3,565 registrations. Rounding out the top five were the Toyota RAV4, the CMC J Space, and the Ford Territory. This surge in local deliveries comes as Tesla announces that global sales for the Model Y have now surpassed 4 million units worldwide.
To celebrate the milestone, Tesla is encouraging prospective owners to book a test drive and experience the company’s latest software and hardware updates firsthand.
With the first quarter of the year concluding, the data confirms that the shift toward electric vehicles in Taiwan is accelerating, with Tesla leading the charge in the mainstream market.
