Tesla has temporarily enabled free Supercharging across its entire network in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar to support drivers during a period of regional uncertainty.

The automaker confirmed via its official Tesla Charging account on X that the perk will go into effect at midnight local time on Tuesday. The move covers dozens of major stations, including those in high-traffic hubs like Riyadh, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Doha. While Tesla has not specified an end date for the promotion, it noted the decision was made to ensure mobility and access to infrastructure for owners as the region faces ongoing disruptions.

The free charging applies to a wide range of locations, from urban centres like the Dubai Mall and Yas Mall to key transport routes in Dammam and Taif. Historically, Tesla has opened its network for free during emergencies or geopolitical conflicts, such as during the onset of the Russia-Ukraine war and in Israel in 2023, to assist with civilian transport and logistics.

For Tesla owners in these Middle Eastern markets, the charging stalls will simply show a $0 rate in the vehicle’s navigation system starting at the midnight cutoff.
