Tesla has officially launched its refreshed Model S and Model X in Europe, with deliveries set to begin next month. The long-awaited update brings notable improvements to range, cabin comfort, noise insulation, and performance — though it will only be available in left-hand-drive markets for now.
The revamped Model S and Model X now feature greater insulation against wind and road noise, along with improved active noise cancelling thanks to more effective noise isolation. Tesla has also incorporated new insulation materials, a revised chassis design, and sound-absorbent interior components to create a quieter, more premium in-cabin experience.
Tesla has introduced multi-colour ambient lighting across the dashboard, centre console, and front and rear doors, adding a more modern and refined atmosphere inside. Additional upgrades include a new specific user interface, front bumper camera with washer, blind spot indicator, adaptive headlights, and a new on-screen welcome animation when the car door is opened.

Both models also benefit from increased range, new low-resistance tires, more aerodynamic wheel designs, and revised air suspension for improved ride comfort across hot and cold climates.
For Model X buyers, Tesla has enhanced the spaciousness of the third-row seating area with added shoulder room — a meaningful improvement for families and anyone frequently carrying more than five passengers. This should translate to better comfort for adults and taller passengers in the back.

The high-performance Model S Plaid is also seeing a series of exclusive upgrades, including a new front fascia, front splitter, carbon fiber spoiler, updated diffuser, and a reworked powertrain with refined carbon-wrapped rotors. Tesla says these enhancements improve both high-speed handling and stability.
Today’s launch follows earlier signs of a European refresh after filings for the updated 2026 Model S surfaced in August. Tesla has been steadily refreshing its lineup in Europe, following the recent upgraded Model Y Performance, a light refresh to the Model 3 that brought back physical turn signal stalks, and the rollout of the new, more affordable Model Y Standard, with deliveries beginning next month.
