Tesla has unveiled a refreshed Model Y Performance in the United States, with deliveries expected to begin in December. No, it’s not available in Canada yet.

The updated Model Y Performance accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, reaches a top speed of 155 mph, and offers an estimated 306 miles of range. Exterior changes include redesigned front and rear fascias and a new carbon fiber spoiler that boosts downforce and reduces drag. The SUV also rides on new 21-inch Arachnid wheels with staggered fitment for improved grip and handling.

Inside, Tesla has added sport seating with heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats with power recline, and new bolstering with side cushions and powered thigh extenders for cornering support and comfort. The cabin is quieter thanks to added sound-damping materials and acoustic glass, while a 16-inch high-resolution touchscreen continues to serve as the centerpiece of the interior.

Other updates include adaptive damping for better ride stability, new drive modes for high-speed control, and higher-capacity battery cells. Tesla also points out that when driving duties are done, the vehicle supports FSD Supervised for hands-off trips.

The Model Y Performance starts at $57,490 US, with paint options and a tow hitch included, a bundle Tesla says can save buyers up to $2,000. Orders placed before midnight on September 30 qualify for the full US$7,500 federal tax credit, reducing the price to $49,990 US. Yeah, there’s a surge of orders right now to meet that midnight deadline according to buyers sharing their screenshots on X.

“Customers placing an order now will be given an option to finance when it’s closer for delivery,” Tesla’s Raj Jegannathan said on X.

Alrighty–who’s ordering one tonight?
