Tesla Canada Promo: $5,000 Off Model 3 Until September 30

Tesla is giving Canadian buyers a big incentive to grab a new Model 3 this month. Customers who take delivery of a new Model 3 by September 30, 2025, can now choose between a $5,000 CAD discount off the purchase price or unlimited free Supercharging for life.
This new offer expands on Tesla’s previous promotion from last month, which gave buyers free lifetime Supercharging on Model 3 inventory if they took delivery by September 30. Now, the company is adding more flexibility by letting buyers pick between that benefit or an immediate $5,000 off the price of the car.
As with the earlier promotion, the deal only applies to Model 3 vehicles in Tesla’s Canadian inventory and not custom factory orders. Tesla notes that orders will default to the $5,000 discount at checkout. Customers who prefer free lifetime Supercharging will need to contact Tesla after placing their order to switch.

The timing of this promotion is significant. Last year, Canada imposed steep tariffs on Chinese- and U.S.-imported EVs, which drove Model 3 and Model Y prices sharply higher. Tesla has since found a workaround for the Model Y, exporting Canadian-market units from its Gigafactory in Berlin. That allowed Tesla to slash Model Y prices in Canada by $20,000 earlier this summer, bringing them back to pre-tariff levels. However, no such solution exists yet for the Model 3, leaving it more expensive than before.
The $5,000 discount is designed to help ease the upfront cost for buyers, particularly when combined with provincial EV rebates. Meanwhile, the free Supercharging option could deliver more value for long-distance commuters, road-trippers, or those without access to home charging. Buyers who order through a referral link will also get three months of Full Self-Driving (FSD) for free.
With Tesla pushing for a strong end-of-quarter, the timing of this promotion lines up with the September 30 expiration of the $7,500 USD EV tax credit in the U.S., which is already driving demand. North of the border, the $5,000 Model 3 discount could help Tesla boost sales as it closes what could be a redeeming quarter for the company.
