Tesla Model S/X Owners with FSD Can Add Luxe Package for $2,000

Tesla has started offering recent Model S and Model X buyers in the U.S. who also purchased Full Self-Driving (FSD) the option to upgrade to the Luxe Package for $2,000.

As spotted by @NotATeslaApp, qualifying owners are now seeing a notification in the Tesla app inviting them to add the Luxe Package by October 19, 2025. For the $2,000 upgrade, Tesla is bundling in lifetime Supercharging, free lifetime Premium Connectivity, and four years of Premium Service.

That’s a huge discount compared to earlier this summer, when Tesla hiked Model S and Model X prices in the U.S. by $10,000 across the board and made the Luxe Package standard on all new orders. At the time, Tesla justified the price hike by bundling in FSD (Supervised), lifetime Supercharging, Premium Connectivity, and Premium Service into the new Luxe trim. The company also rolled out the Luxe Package to new Cybertruck Cyberbeast orders following a price increase last month.

The Luxe Package essentially future-proofs Tesla’s higher-end vehicles with lifetime perks that used to be fleeting or subscription-based, such as Premium Connectivity. For owners who purchased their Model S/X just before the price adjustments, the $2,000 add-on now makes it possible to catch up on features without paying the full $10,000 premium.

Interestingly, while the push notification specifically mentions FSD buyers, some Tesla owners have noted that you can also buy the Luxe Package outright even if you didn’t purchase FSD, effectively unlocking the full bundle — including FSD itself. That makes the deal even more attractive for those who want the full suite of Tesla’s software and lifetime benefits at a fraction of the cost of newer orders.

Tesla has not confirmed how long this promotional upgrade window will remain available, but the October 19 cutoff suggests it’s a limited-time offer. For those eligible, $2,000 for lifetime Supercharging alone might be reason enough to jump on it.
