Tesla has rolled out software update 2025.32.3.1 this week, bringing an undocumented but welcome fix for Bluetooth audio latency on newer vehicles powered by AMD-based infotainment units.
As spotted by Not a Tesla App, the update greatly reduces the audio delay that has long plagued Bluetooth streaming. While the delay often went unnoticed when listening to music, it created noticeable sync issues when watching videos on a connected smartphone or tablet. With the latest update, playback buttons now respond more quickly, and video content is more closely aligned with the audio.
The 2025.32.3.1 patch also addresses a long-standing compatibility issue between “PIN to Drive” and the “Start FSD (Supervised) from Park” feature. Until now, enabling PIN to Drive meant the option to activate Full Self-Driving (Supervised) directly from Park simply wouldn’t appear on the touchscreen. That limitation prevented owners who rely on PIN to Drive’s added layer of security from fully using FSD (Supervised). With this fix, Tesla owners no longer have to choose between convenience and security.
Earlier this month, Tesla began rolling out the broader 2025.32.3 software update. That release introduced Tesla’s new Vision-based Frontal Airbag System Enhancement feature for the Model Y, a safety upgrade that uses the vehicle’s cameras to adjust airbag deployment in certain crash scenarios. It also added a new “Low Power Mode”, designed to help all Tesla vehicles conserve energy when parked for extended periods.
Taken together, the 2025.32 family of updates shows Tesla continuing to refine both its safety features and its user experience. For AMD-equipped owners in particular, the Bluetooth latency improvements will make streaming video and audio on the go far smoother.
