Tesla aftermarket leader Unplugged Performance has officially launched what it’s calling the world’s first “indestructible” forged wheel — designed for the Tesla Model 3, Model Y, and the company’s upcoming Cybercab and Robotaxi fleet.
Dubbed the UP Forged Road Warrior (UP-RW), this new forged wheel was built from the ground up with durability, efficiency, and long-term cost savings in mind. According to Unplugged Performance, the UP-RW offers “unmatched strength,” a high load rating, and a lifetime replacement guarantee — if you somehow manage to bend or crack one under normal use.

The UP-RW is engineered with the future in mind. Tesla’s Robotaxi service is currently in limited pilot testing in Austin, Texas, with plans to expand to other cities pending regulatory approval. While Tesla owners still can’t put their vehicles to work on the network just yet, Unplugged Performance’s new wheel is already preparing for that future — designed specifically for high-mileage driving, stop-and-go city use, and maximum uptime.
The UP-RW’s standout feature is a replaceable Curb Guard Ring, a stealthy outer ring that absorbs curb and pothole impacts — and can be swapped out without removing the tire. The forged 6061-T6 aluminum construction keeps weight down, while an integrated aerodynamic disc helps reduce drag, coming within 0.010 Cd of Tesla’s own 18” Photon Aero Covered wheels in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) testing.

Unplugged says the UP-RW works with factory Tesla tires in 19” or 20” non-staggered configurations and ships with billet-forged Center Caps and Curb Guards. For a limited time, sets of four start at an introductory price of $2,595 USD.
