Tesla Canada: $1,000 Off for Teachers, Students, Responders

Tesla is now offering a $1,000 discount on new vehicles in Canada for verified first responders, teachers, and students.

The offer applies to all new purchases of the Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck. Buyers must verify their status through ID.me before placing an order.

Once verified, eligible customers will be directed to Tesla’s Design Studio to complete their purchase. The discount is applied before taxes and must be claimed at the time of order—it can’t be used for past purchases or transferred to someone else.

The promotion can be combined with Tesla’s financing deals and referral program but cannot be stacked with other group discounts such as the Lyft driver offer.

Tesla introduced its $1,000 discount for teachers, students, and first responders in the USA as part of the expanded “Made in America for Everyday Heroes” program, with the expansion announced on May 16, 2025.

The program, previously limited to military personnel under the “Made in America For Those Who Served” initiative, now includes verified military veterans, retirees, active-duty members, their spouses, surviving spouses, first responders (firefighters, EMTs, police officers), teachers (K-12 and post-secondary), and students, offering $1,000 off new Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y, and Cybertruck purchases after ID.me verification.

Now, this program has expanded to Canada but for first responders, teachers, and students.

Tesla says the deal is “subject to change or end at any time.” Demo drives can be scheduled online.
