Tesla Robotaxi, Starlink, Optimus Robots Coming to Saudi Arabia: Musk
Elon Musk has confirmed that Tesla will bring its Robotaxi service and Optimus humanoid robots to Saudi Arabia.
The announcement came at the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum, marking another step in Tesla’s global expansion. Musk travelled to the Kingdom with President Donald Trump.
Musk also revealed that Starlink was approved to begin offering service for maritime and aviation use, and suggested expanding his tunnel-based traffic solution—already operating as a proof of concept in Las Vegas—to Saudi cities.

The Tesla CEO touched on his AI company, xAI, saying its goal is to develop “maximally truth-seeking AI” to help better understand the universe.
The news follows Tesla’s April 2025 launch of the Cybertruck in the Middle East, along with the opening of its first showroom in the region.
