Tesla Launches Early Access FSD (Supervised) Program

Tesla has started expanding access to its Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) Early Access Program, now allowing owners of Hardware 4 vehicles to enroll, according to screenshots shared by @SawyerMerritt on X.

A banner in the Tesla app is appearing for some owners with the option to “Enroll in FSD (Supervised) Early Access Program.” This gives eligible users access to new FSD builds before they are rolled out more broadly.

Once enrolled, a message confirms that the request is submitted and may take up to 10 minutes to process.

The program description notes that participants will get to try early features, share feedback, and allow Tesla to collect detailed vehicle data—including GPS, external and cabin camera footage, and VIN-linked information. Drivers must stay alert and ready to take over at any time.

Currently, this early access appears to be limited to Hardware 4 vehicles, with Hardware 3 owners not yet included in the rollout.

Previously, only a small group of users had early access to new FSD builds. This expansion marks a broader push to gather real-world feedback on Tesla’s ongoing FSD development.

We have yet to see FSD (Unsupervised) but Tesla says it’s coming in June for its Robotaxi network in Austin and more US cities by the end of the year.
