A new cruise experience in Alaska is offering high-speed internet in some of the most remote areas, thanks to Starlink. Alaska Uncharted, a small-ship cruise company, is equipping its vessels with Starlink to provide passengers with unlimited internet access while exploring the wilderness.
The satellite internet service allows travelers to stay connected while cruising through Alaska’s remote landscapes. Passengers can share photos in real time, check in with family, or simply enjoy reliable internet access in areas where traditional networks don’t reach.
For years, those venturing into Alaska’s wilderness had to choose between disconnecting entirely or dealing with unreliable connections. With Starlink, Alaska Uncharted aims to eliminate that trade-off.
The cruise includes all-inclusive excursions such as whale watching, glacier hiking, and kayaking, along with high-speed internet access throughout the trip. While many might still choose to unplug, Starlink ensures that staying connected is now an option—even in the most isolated parts of Alaska.
