Skyservice Business Aviation is now an authorized dealer of SpaceX’s Starlink, offering high-speed satellite internet for business aircraft. This partnership brings faster, more reliable in-flight connectivity to more aircraft owners and operators.
“At Skyservice, we are committed to growing our avionics offerings and ensuring our customers have access to the latest technology as soon as it becomes available,” said Benjamin Murray, President and Chief Executive Officer of Skyservice, in a statement on Thursday.
Starlink’s low Earth orbit satellite network delivers high-speed, low-latency internet, even in remote areas. With FAA approval for Gulfstream 450 and Bombardier Global aircraft, and Canadian certification in progress, Skyservice will provide Starlink for all Global aircraft models.
The system uses a fuselage-mounted antenna, allowing seamless 4K streaming and better productivity for passengers during flights. Skyservice is based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
