Tesla’s Optimus Robot Shows Off Catching a Tennis Ball
Tesla’s Optimus robot continues to advance its skill, this time showing off its ability to catch a tennis ball tossed its way.
“Got a new hand for Black Friday,” said Optimus yesterday. In replies, Optimus said, “thanks I have been exercising.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk replied, “Let’s give Optimus a hand for catching ball!”.
Check out the video below. Optimus is able to catch tennis balls tossed its way, then drop the ball and catch another. Its hand looks so life-like:

Tesla’s goal is to mass produce Optimus, and when it reaches annual scale of 1 million units, pricing may be able to drop to $20,000 US per robot.
