Tesla Makes Reporting Supercharger Issues, Finding Trailer Stalls Easier
Tesla has rolled out an update to its app that allows drivers to report problems at Supercharging locations, even if they’re not actively charging.
Max de Zegher, Teslaâs Director of Charging for North America, shared the news on X, explaining that with Tesla App version 4.39.0 or later, users can now report non-charging issues like snow blocking access, cracked equipment, vandalism, or overflowing trash.
Tesla already uses automated systems to monitor charging performance and detect issues such as broken stalls or slow charging. However, this update enables users to report site-specific concerns that may not be immediately detected by Teslaâs systems.
With the new Tesla App update, you can report issues at Tesla charging locations at any time. Our systems already auto-detect charging performance, but sharing issues related to access, cleanliness or damage can help us improve site experience faster. pic.twitter.com/KGqDUM7o22

âHelping us fix it faster!â de Zegher added, emphasizing how customer feedback can improve Supercharger site maintenance.
Tesla Charging also announced that drivers can now identify Supercharger locations with trailer-friendly stalls. By tapping on the Supercharger pin in the app, trailer-compatible locations will appear at the top of the list, making it easier for drivers towing trailers to plan their trips. You can see the title, âTrailer Friendlyâ in the image above.
Tesla’s Supercharger network has an uptime of 99.95%, which is just downright incredible compared to other charging networks.
