Tesla Working on Apple Watch App, Reverse A.S.S. and More
A recent decompile of Tesla’s iOS app version 4.38.0 by @Tesla_App_iOS reveals several intriguing changes, including new API endpoints, assets, and framework updates. The breakdown offers a glimpse of potential upcoming features, though Tesla has not provided official details.
Among the changes, new API endpoints point to expanded functionality. These include commands related to energy management and a feature labeled “Intelligent Assistance,” which seems geared towards generating suggestions and forms for users within the app.
The app update also adds new visual assets, such as nighttime solar images, a tone slider icon, and a top-down view of the Cybertruck. These graphics hint at possible enhancements in Tesla’s energy product displays and further integration of the Cybertruck, which is nearing launch.
Framework adjustments include the introduction of Firebase Analytics and Google App Measurement, along with support for iOS 18, marking a transition from the previous 17.2 SDK to the latest 18.0.
Also, Tesla is working on a native Apple Watch app (as promised by Elon), while reverse Actual Smart Summon is also coming, such as noting where the car is parked and updating while looking for parking.
While the decompiled update provides insight into what may come, it remains unclear when these features will be officially released or activated.
