Tesla’s recent software update, 2024.38.2, introduces new features and improvements, making driving even more convenient, notably the debut of Spotify Free (meaning you can listen without a paid plan) and also new custom-tilted mirror positions.

Spotify Free:
Tesla owners can now use Spotify in their cars without needing a paid Spotify Premium account. However, ad-free listening, playlist previews, and unlimited skips are still exclusive to Premium users. A Wi-Fi connection or Premium Connectivity is required. This is a good addition since LiveOne Powered by Slacker Radio is no longer free (well, you need to create an account).
Custom Mirror Tilt Positions:
You can now personalize the tilt of your side mirrors when the car is in reverse. To set it up, go to Controls > Mirrors > Adjust Tilted Position, adjust as needed, and save. Make sure Mirror Auto Tilt is enabled for this feature to work.
