Tesla Launches Cybertruck Wheel Covers for Purchase, But in Error
Tesla has announced the availability of two new wheel cover options for the Cybertruck. The “Cybertruck Core Wheel Cover” and the “Cybertruck Cyber Wheel Cover” are now listed on Tesla’s official online store, priced at $75 USD each. But not so fast…
To purchase the covers, users must sign in to their Tesla account and verify their ownership status, as the products are exclusively available to Tesla vehicle owners.
The “Cybertruck Core Wheel Cover” is designed for use with the Cybertruck’s 20-inch Core Wheels. Each purchase includes a single Core Wheel Cover. Similarly, the “Cybertruck Cyber Wheel Cover” fits the Cybertruck’s 20-inch Cyber Wheels and is also sold as a single unit.
But wait, it looks like Tesla launched these too soon in error.
“This is an error. We first need to supply to our foundation series customers who have been waiting for this. Sorry!” said Siddhant Awasthi, Cybertruck Vehicle Program Manager, in a reply to @SawyerMerritt on X. Both wheel covers are now showing as out of stock. That’s a bit of a let down for customers that were waiting to purchase these.
Tesla’s Cybertruck is set to gain an update to bring Full Self-Driving, expected to come by the end of this month.
