Tesla’s Wall Connector has debuted on Amazon Canada, as the official charger is being promoted on the retailer’s main featured carousel.
Two Tesla Wall Connectors are available, offering shipping at Prime speeds:
The Universal Wall Connector also features Tesla Powershare technology for Cybertruck, allowing the latter to power your home “for over three days” in the event of a power outage.
These are shipped from Amazon and sold by Tesla according to the listings, meaning they are officially sold by the automaker and not a third-party. These prices are the same as Tesla’s website, but offer Prime shipping speeds instead for Canadians.
Wall Connectors will require an electrician to install at your home, as they offer faster Level 2 charging compared to trickle charging from a Mobile Connector. If you’re a daily commuter driving long distances, having a Level 2 charger is essential at home, if you want to be fully juiced up for the next day.
Tesla also sells its Wall Connectors–and vehicle accessories–on Amazon USA. We might see Tesla vehicle accessories hit Amazon Canada in the future.
