Tesla has officially launched its highly anticipated Cybertruck in Canada, with deliveries expected between October and November 2024. The futuristic vehicle is available in two configurations to start like in the US, with the limited-edition Foundation Series available for configuration.
Tesla sent out an email to those that made Cybertruck reservations on Thursday evening, according to an email and screenshots received by Tesla North.
You can see full Canadian pricing for the Dual Motor and Tri Motor Cybertruck configurations below, starting from $137,990 CAD. The CyberBeast starts at a whopping $165,990 CAD, before taxes.

Tesla has also provided a $3,500 voucher for purchasing the wall connector and gateway upon delivery. A non-refundable $700 reservation deposit is required to secure a Cybertruck. The prices listed do not include incentives or the estimated $7,500 in gas savings over three years.
Once customers log into their Tesla account, they can click on their Cybertruck reservation and then click “Start Designing”. Tesla says, “select your configuration and confirm the final price in our Design Studio. As a pre-order holder, your delivery day will be prioritized.”

You’ll need to fork up almost $150,000 CAD for the AWD Cybertruck–before provincial and federal taxes. After 12% tax for PST and GST in BC, it works out to $166,755.90. And that doesn’t include your insurance cost for the Cybertruck, which will likely be pretty expensive as well.

If you have deep pockets, a Cyberbeast version will cost a whopping $182,489.20 CAD. The luxury tax alone is $13,773.20 CAD. After GST and PST in BC? Cybertruck in Tri Motor will set you back a staggering $204,387.90 CAD. Who needs a home nowadays? Just live in your Cybertruck!
In regards to the luxury tax, Tesla said it is looking into getting the Cybertruck exempt, since the truck should not be taxed as it weighs more than vehicles within the luxury tax bracket.
The lower cost RWD Cybertruck is not coming until 2025, so keep waiting if you want to save money.
Tesla produces the Cybertruck at its Gigafactory in Austin, Texas. The expansion to Canada and Mexico suggests the company is ramping up production as planned.
