A growing number of California residents are turning to solar energy, but many face disappointment when their systems fail to function during power outages.
However, one homeowner shared his positive experience with Tesla Solar, emphasizing its effectiveness and financial benefits, in a new video shared by Tesla.
Concerned about frequent climate events and grid reliability, Steve, a recent homeowner, decided to install a Tesla Solar system complete with a Powerwall battery. His decision was influenced by his financial advisor, who had already experienced the benefits of Tesla Solar at her own home.
Steve praised the quick and efficient installation process, stating that the solar panels and Powerwall were set up in a single day. “They installed the panels on the roof and the Powerwall, everything that it needed in that one day,” he said.
He highlighted the system’s intelligence, which allows it to manage energy usage automatically. “During the day, when the cost of energy is lower, the solar runs the house. When the cost of energy is higher, the Powerwall runs the house,” he explained.
Steve shared impressive financial results, showing a significant reduction in his energy bills. His last bill not only showed no cost but also a credit of $64.83. For the year, he accumulated credits amounting to $492.82, leaving him feeling satisfied and financially relieved. “I feel great,” he added.
Tesla Solar with a Powerwall definitely is a great set up, if you can afford it. During Tesla’s Q2 earnings report, the company noted it was a record for its energy business.
