Tesla has announced a new financing promotion for its Model Y compact crossover SUV. In North America, Tesla is offering 1.99% APR financing for new Model Y orders placed before August 31, with delivery required by September 30.
Additionally, Tesla is extending this promotion to New Zealand, where customers can also take advantage of the 1.99% APR financing rate for the Model Y (via @Tslachan). Orders in New Zealand must similarly be placed by the end of August, with delivery completed by the end of September. Oddly, the promo is not available in Australia.
With interest rates right now still fairly high, seeing a 1.99% financing offer definitely will entice people to jump on the Model Y, that may result in a surge of orders in Q3. Let’s see what happens.
