Tesla Cybertruck Full Self-Driving Still Debuting with 12.5: Musk

When will Tesla’s Cybertruck get Full Self-Driving? Back in May, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said it was coming with version 12.5, which was coming in “late June”. Well, that timeline has passed and we are into mid-July.

On Thursday, Musk clarified and reaffirmed that FSD is still coming to the Cybertruck with version 12.5.

“Yes, Cybertruck FSD releases with 12.5, which also finally merges the city and highway code,” said Musk in response to Chuck Cook.

In May, Musk said, “Will also see a major improvement in [miles per intervention] and is single stack – no more implicit stack on highways.”

This week, Musk confirmed Tesla vehicles are testing FSD 12.5 on Chuck Cook’s unprotected left turn, a challenging turn for humans, let alone FSD.

As of writing, FSD 12.4.3 is available in limited capacity for testers, but has yet to expand to the entire fleet.
