
Tesla has started rolling out its 2024.26 software update and it’s full of new features, including the debut of YouTube Music and Amazon Music apps for the first time.
Also new are parental controls, allowing speed limits and a night curfew, while you can also navigate to sub-destinations and also see better weather forecast and air quality details in the status bar.

YouTube Music
- Access over 100 million songs with YouTube Music Premium.
- Requires Premium Connectivity or WiFi.
Amazon Music
- Prime members get access to over 100 million songs in shuffle mode and ad-free podcasts.
- Upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for full on-demand access.
- Requires Premium Connectivity or WiFi.
Parental Controls
- Enable with a PIN.
- Set speed limits (limit acceleration to Chill mode), enable safety features such as Speed Limit Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning, and configure a night curfew to get notifications through the Tesla app when car is driven past curfew.
- Accessible from the vehicle or the Tesla mobile app.
Navigate to Sub-Destinations
- Select specific locations for accurate routing, such as a specific terminal at the airport. Robotaxi feature, anyone?
Weather Forecast and Air Quality
- View local weather and air quality on the status bar, including AQI symbol and index value.
- Detailed weather information available by tapping the temperature display. Premium Connectivity required.
Schedule Charge and Preconditioning
- Schedule charging and preconditioning from the menu or mobile app.
- Customize schedules for specific times and locations.
Security Improvements
- Includes significant security fixes and enhancements.
Other Updates
- “The Battle of Polytopia” and “Vampire Survivors” updates.
- Redesigned climate panel for easier comfort settings. Auto fan speed may auto lower when you’re on a phone call.
- Enhanced Zoom meeting features, now default to full-screen when in Park. QR code logins now available.
- TeslaMic support in the Tesla store.
Autopilot Suspension
- Autopilot use suspended after five inattentiveness “strikeouts.”
- Suspension lasts approximately one week.
Headlights Adapt for Curves
- Headlights adjust for better visibility on curved roads.
- Enable in vehicle settings under Lights > Adaptive Headlights.
Beach Buggy Racing 2 – Supercharger Races
- Compete for fastest lap times at Superchargers.
Hot Weather Improvements
- Enhanced A/C performance and HV Battery temperature regulation.
