Tesla’s Model 3 saw a significant surge in registrations in China last week, with 6,100 units registered, marking the highest weekly total since the launch of the upgraded sedan, known as ‘Highland’.
According to local Tesla sales data shared by @Tslachan, this registration figure was recorded between June 17 and 23, 2024.

June 3-9: 12,000 units
June 10-16: 11,700 units
June 17-23: 17,500 units
June 24-30: TBA
Roland Pircher noted, “Tesla China had its highest year-to-date sales last week, and with the launch of the Performance model, the highest Model 3 sales since I’ve been tracking this data.”
Last week’s sales data represents a quarter-over-quarter increase of 13.1% and a year-to-date decline of 4.6% compared to the same period last year. Despite this, it was the highest week of the year for Tesla registrations in China, said Pircher.
