
Tesla yesterday announced a major change—offering up 1 month of free Full Self-Driving (FSD) capability for new car deliveries in Canada and the U.S.
This comes after Tesla’s FSD 12.3 has seen some massive improvements over version 11. The current FSD 12.3 is based on a single end-to-end neural network trained on millions of video clips, replacing over 300,000 lines of C++ code. FSD costs an extra $12,000 USD or $16,000 CAD in the U.S. or Canada.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk wants all new deliveries and cars leaving service to include a FSD demo drive.
Today, Tesla asked owners to “Share your best moments and experiences with FSD V12.3 below,” on X.
Owners obliged and shared some impressive clips for the most part, showing FSD 12.3 exhibiting human-like behaviour. Check out the replies to the Tesla North America account on X below:
Tesla’s Cybertruck has yet to gain Autopilot or FSD, but that should come soon.
