Citadel Completions, a leading provider of V/VVIP aircraft services, has announced its new status as an Authorized Starlink Dealer in the Business Aviation sector. This development allows Citadel to offer both sales and installation services for Starlink’s advanced Aviation Products on large cabin aircraft, both narrow and wide-bodied.

This collaboration expands Citadel’s service offerings, combining high-quality electro-mechanical component procurement with comprehensive installation services. The partnership aims to enhance private aircraft with high-speed connectivity, revolutionizing the in-flight experience.

A key aspect of this alliance is Citadel’s commitment to exceptional customer support, including a twenty-four-month warranty on workmanship and installation services.

SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet offers connectivity speeds of up to 220 Mbps per aircraft. This capability enables passengers to enjoy uninterrupted internet access, including streaming and virtual meetings, irrespective of the aircraft’s altitude.

The core of this technology is the Starlink Aviation System, which includes an electronically steered phased array antenna in the Ku frequency band, complete with a power supply and two WIFI Access Points. This system, designed for easy installation under existing radomes, is set to revolutionize airborne communication.

In addition, Starlink is pursuing future certifications for its Aero Terminal installations on a case-by-case basis, working closely with the Starlink Engineering team.

Citadel Completions specializes in customizing V/VVIP aircraft interiors and offers a wide range of services including engineering, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and manufacturing for aircraft modifications, located at Chennault International Airport in Louisiana.

Later this evening, SpaceX is targeting another Starlink launch of 23 satellites from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
