Tesla has announced an innovative addition to its referral program, offering customers the chance to expedite the delivery of their Cybertruck.
For 30,000 referral credits, participants can secure a Foundation Series Cybertruck within just 45 days, a significant perk for those eager to receive their vehicle sooner. This new award does not offer a discount on the purchase price but significantly reduces the waiting time for delivery (via @SawyerMerritt).
The program is particularly appealing for customers who might otherwise face a lengthy wait, potentially stretching to years, given the high demand for Tesla’s new iconic truck.
“Redeem referral credits to accelerate your Cybertruck Delivery. Be invited to configure and take delivery of your Foundation Series All-Wheel Drive or Cyberbeast within 45 days of redemption. If you miss your chance to claim, check back later–additional accelerated deliveries,” the company stated, highlighting the accelerated delivery process.
In addition to the accelerated Cybertruck delivery, Tesla has reintroduced tours of its Giga Texas and Fremont factories as part of the U.S. referral program, available for 10,000 credits. Furthermore, the referral credits for arranging a Demo Drive through Tesla’s program have been increased from 100 to 1,000 credits, provided the drive is completed by March 1st.
Tesla is also running another Foundation Series Cybertruck Sweepstakes within its referral awards program, offering tickets for 1,000 credits each. The winner of the sweepstakes, set to be selected in April, will further highlight the company’s promotional efforts to engage customers and incentivize referrals.
