
Last month, Tesla announced it was opening its first store in Chile on January 31, 2024.
Fast forward to February 1, and Tesla has announced you can now order a Model 3 and Model Y in the South American nation. There’s also a kiosk in Santiago right now as well. Check out the photo above.
At the store’s opening in Parque Arauco, guests were invited to enjoy food and drinks, while checking out Tesla’s vehicle lineup. Tesla advisors were on hand to explain features and answer questions, plus let prospective customers schedule test drives.
Chile has some of the world’s biggest lithium reserves, which are needed to make EV batteries. Tesla CEO’s other company, SpaceX, launched Starlink in Chile back in 2021.
