Polestar 4 Launches in Europe and Australia
Polestar has officially announced the launch of the Polestar 4 in Europe and Australia.
With production kicking off and the first deliveries in China concluding at the end of 2023, the online sales for the Polestar 4 have started, featuring an indicative starting price of EUR 63,200 in Europe and AUD 81,500 in Australia. The company anticipates the start of production by mid-2024, with the first deliveries expected from August.
The Polestar 4 is a SUV coupé, blending the aerodynamics of a coupé with the spaciousness of an SUV. It is the fastest production car from Polestar to date and is strategically positioned between the Polestar 2 and Polestar 3 in terms of size and price.
Key Features of the Polestar 4:
- Design Innovations: Incorporating design elements from Polestar’s concept cars, including the elimination of the rear window for an immersive rear occupant experience and the introduction of the dual blade front lights with a unique Polestar light signature.
- Aerodynamic Efficiency: Enhanced by features such as a low nose, retractable door handles, and rear aero blades.
- Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA): Built on Geely Holding’s premium SEA, offering generous interior proportions and a long wheelbase for comfort.
- Interior Ambiance: Features a full-length glass roof, electrically reclining rear seats, and adjustable ambient lighting inspired by the solar system.
- Sustainability: Boasts the lowest carbon footprint at launch among all Polestar cars, utilizing green and photovoltaic electricity in production and a high use of low-carbon aluminium.
- Performance: Offers a 0-100 km/h time of just 3.8 seconds with a maximum power output of 400 kW (544 hp). Available in both dual- and single-motor variants.
- Technology: Equipped with Android Automotive OS and the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform, featuring a 15.4-inch landscape-oriented screen and Google built-in services.
- Safety: Incorporates leading safety technology, including the SuperVision Advanced Driver Assistance System from Mobileye and seven airbags.

Pricing starts from 63,200 EUR for the Long Range Single Motor and from 71,200 EUR for the Long Range Dual Motor, with WLTP range at 610km and 580km respectively, from 100 kWh battery pack.
