The recently launched upgraded Tesla Model 3 in North America has experienced a shift in its estimated delivery dates, moving from January-February 2024 to February-March 2024 in less than a day (via @Tslachan).

This change suggests a high demand for the upgraded Model 3, available in Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range versions.

Tesla’s website now displays the updated delivery estimates, indicating the strong consumer interest in the vehicle. The Model 3 has up to an EPA estimated range of 341 miles on a single charge, with the new exterior design emphasizing aerodynamic efficiency. It also features new color options, Stealth Grey and Ultra Red, which are designed to shift in appearance depending on the light and viewing angle.

The interior of the Model 3 has been completely redesigned, offering a wraparound styling and customizable ambient lighting. The materials used are of a higher quality, promising a more luxurious feel. Enhanced sound experience is provided by a Tesla-designed audio system, which includes up to 17 speakers, dual subwoofers, and dual amplifiers.

For rear passengers, there’s an 8” touchscreen with climate controls and entertainment options. Front seats now come with ventilation, which can be controlled via a smartphone or set to adjust automatically with the climate controls. The car also includes wireless charging for two phones and features an improved cabin that is quieter due to the use of 360-degree acoustic glass.

Tesla’s technology advancements continue with remote access controls through the Tesla app, including cabin preconditioning and charging planning. The Model 3 also includes a ‘Dog Mode’ for pet comfort and a comprehensive safety system featuring Tesla Vision with 360° visibility and powerful visual processing.

In Canada, both RWD and Long Range versions of the Model 3 qualify for various provincial and federal rebates. In Quebec, for example, residents can save $12,000 CAD off the upgraded Model 3 ($7,000 provincial rebate; $5,000 federal).
