The Saloon, described as the flagship concept of the Honda 0 Series, exemplifies the company’s “M/M” philosophy – maximum value for the man, minimum mechanics. This model showcases a blend of a low and wide exterior with a spacious interior, prioritizing sustainable materials and an intuitive human-machine interface. It’s also equipped with advanced steer-by-wire and motion control management systems. The Saloon also have gull wing doors and looks like a DeLorean.

The Space-Hub concept focuses on daily life, with a spacious cabin and versatile space to facilitate connectivity and interaction says Honda. This model embodies Honda’s developmental approach of “Thin, Light, and Wise.” Okay. It’s basically a futuristic looking minivan.

A significant aspect of this launch is the introduction of a new Honda “H” emblem, exclusively for these next-generation EVs. Just so you know that the vehicle you’re looking at is an electric Honda, right?

“We have gone back to basics and formulated the Honda 0 Series with a design for the new era,” said Shinji Aoyama, Global EVP of Honda, in a statement. “A bold and pure proportion that from the first glance is overwhelmingly different from other EVs to evoke a new perspective for people.”

The Honda 0 Series represents a departure from traditional EV design, embracing principles of being thin, light, and wise. This approach includes a dedicated EV platform for better aerodynamic performance and a software-defined mobility experience. The series also promises to incorporate new advancements in automated driving, connected technologies, performance, and battery efficiency.

Honda says it plans to integrate an advanced driver-assistive system (ADAS) in the 0 Series, utilizing technologies from the Honda SENSING Elite. This includes a next-generation automated driving system, featuring AI and advanced sensing technologies for a safer, more natural driving experience.

The Honda 0 Series also aims to revolutionize the user experience with an original operating system. This system will use AI to adapt to the driver’s preferences, enhancing the overall ownership experience. Additionally, the series will feature cutting-edge aerodynamics and battery efficiency technologies, addressing common concerns about charging times and battery degradation.

Honda has a lot of work to catch up to EV leader Tesla. It’s fun seeing these concepts but let’s see if they can make into mass production.
