Tesla Europe & Middle East announced on X that select Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) inventory vehicles are now eligible for a government incentive of up to €5,000 in Flanders, Belgium.
This subsidy is available to residents of Flanders who purchase certain Model Y vehicles priced under €40,000.
This initiative is part of the Flemish government’s efforts to promote the adoption of environmentally friendly vehicles. The incentive aims to make electric vehicles more accessible to a broader range of consumers by reducing the overall cost of ownership.
Tesla’s Model Y, known for its efficiency and performance, becomes an even more attractive option for potential buyers in Flanders with this financial incentive. This move is expected to boost Tesla’s sales in the region and contribute to the government’s environmental goals.
In 2023, sales of Tesla vehicles in Belgium surged 234%. With a Model Y now starting at €34.990, after Tesla lowered the price below €40,000, this will definitely result in more sales.
