
Tesla has launched two new colors for the Model Y compact crossover for its customers in Canada and the U.S. (via @tslachan).
Stealth Grey and Ultra Red are now available for the Model Y. These colors debuted last year for the Model S and Model X, which are manufactured at Tesla’s Fremont factory in California.
The new default free color is Stealth Grey, which replaces Midnight Silver Metallic. The upgrade to Ultra Red costs $2,000 USD ($2,600 CAD).
Besides the new colours, a decrease in the maximum range for both the Long Range and Performance versions of the Model Y are here, due to updated EPA testing standards, which will affect all EV automakers (via @SawyerMerritt):
Click here to order your new Model Y in Stealth Grey or Ultra Red. These new color options may spur new sales to kick off Q1 of 2024, typically a slow period for consumer purchases after the holiday period.
