Tesla Launches Tire Protection Plan

This plan is designed to offer Tesla owners peace of mind against common road hazards such as potholes, debris, and unexpected punctures.

Coverage and Pricing Details

The plan includes repair or replacement of tires and associated wheels damaged by road hazards. It does not cover cosmetic damages, theft, or vandalism.

Eligible Models and Pricing Per Tire:

  • Model 3: $35 for 18″ wheels, $55 for 19″ wheels.
  • Model Y: $55 for 19″ and 20″ wheels.
  • Model S: $90 for 19″ wheels.
  • Model X: $90 for 20″ wheels.

The coverage lasts for 12 months following the purchase and installation of new tires from Tesla. Interestingly enough, there’s no coverage for Cybertruck yet.
